How It Works

Request a consultation with Chef Dan to discuss the details of your event. In this initial call we will:
Confirm availability for your requested date
Discuss dietary preferences and allergies
Explore menu themes and types of cuisines
Discuss the inclusion of any premium upgrades

After the call, Chef Dan will send a detailed quote and collect a deposit to secure your date of service.
Your Detail quote includes:
Cost breakdown for services
Additional costs of requested premium upgrades (if requested)
Additional cost of any party rentals (if requested)
Estimated cost of groceries
Parties of 6 or more and/or parties with 5 or more courses will have a server included.
Parties of 10 or more and/or parties that book less than a week prior to the event will have an automatic 20% service charge added to their quote.

Once a deposit is received, Chef Dan will create a detailed menu for the day of your event.
You will receive a detailed menu with options for your selection
Chef Dan will revise the menu based on your feedback and selections
You have up to days before your event to make changes to your menu

Chef Dan will travel to your location to cook for you and your guests.
Unless previously specified, Chef Dan will utilize your cooking tools and tableware
We will cook for you in your venue
We will clean up afterwards

Final invoice must be paid after service and before the chef leaves.

Mabuhay Austin will arrive 60-90 minutes before your desired sit down time. Depending on the number of courses and guests attending, service lasts between 1.5 - 2 hours. With setup and cleanup time accounted for, it is a maximum of four hours.

Yes. I typically send clients up to two menu samples based on what their inquiry is.

Mabuhay Austin sends all estimates to clients via Honeybook, a booking platform. Honeybook takes Credit or Debit Cards. Cash is only accepted after the event is executed, or for gratuity purposes.

Mabuhay Austin does not have a minimum guest count. The minimum price for a service, however is $500.

No. We usually use whatever you have at your residence. Any rentals can be made through our referral partners. such as American Party Rental.
We can do it for you as long as Mabuhay Austin and Chef Dan are reimbursed for these fees.
